Functional Capacity Exams:

What We Do:

· Perform a comprehensive 3 to 5 hour functional capacity examination.

· Follow a systematic, objective scoring system for projecting performance to the patient’s eight hour work day.

· Provide patients, physicians, employers, and insurance providers with critical information regarding the employee’s physical ability and capacity for performing their job.

· Help workers return to their maximum productivity as quickly and safely as possible.

How We Do It:

· The examiner measures several variables during the patient’s exam. The patient performs up to 37 tasks representing 7 categories of physical and physiological performance.

· Industry-validated formulas and algorithms enable the therapist to score the patient’s performance objectively and systematically.

What Makes Us Different:

· Well designed, comprehensive, easy to understand evaluation reports.

· Maximum objectivity through a precisely designed scoring system.

· Fully compliant – reports base recommendations using the accepted definitions from the Dictionary of Occupational Titles.

· Fully trained, certified, and experienced therapists who have completed the ErgoScience program.
